Which council, block and code each village belongs to
Every form asks for a gram panchayat, a block and a census code, and none of them is easy to find. This page assembles all four identifiers for each of the 22 Dholera villages in one table.
There is no larger council between the village and the block.
Dhandhuka and Barwala. Dholera taluka did not exist in 2011.

Why an ordinary person ends up needing this table
Every village-level form, whether it is a land record request, a certificate or a complaint, asks for the same four things: the village, its gram panchayat, meaning the elected village council, its block, the unit government schemes are run through and its census code. Those four values are scattered across different government systems and are surprisingly hard to assemble for a small village.
So here they are in one table, for all 22 notified villages, copied exactly as the census prints them. Each of these villages is its own gram panchayat, which is not true everywhere in Gujarat, and it means there is no larger council to go through.
There is one trap in this table and it is important. Dholera taluka did not exist when the 2011 census was taken. The census puts every one of these villages in Dhandhuka or Barwala. The 2009 notification uses the same two names. Anything you read that places these villages in a Dholera taluka is using a boundary that came later, and it will not match the census records.
The administrative address of every notified villageCensus of India 2011 administrative columns, plus the taluka as printed in the 2009 notification schedule. Where the two disagree, both are shown.

Gujarat Government Gazette Vol. L No. 23, 4 June 2009, Part IV-B, printed pages 40 to 41, for the taluka each village sat in at notification.

What this table cannot tell you It cannot tell you which taluka a village is in today. Dholera taluka was created after the 2011 census, so it appears in no census column anywhere. Every taluka name in this table is either the 2011 sub-district or the 2009 notification taluka, and both are labelled.
Where to take these codes
The village code is the key that unlocks the rest. Type it into the census village directory and you get the same 396 columns this site was built from. The page on checking a village yourself walks through exactly that, step by step.
