What is grown here, and what supports it
These are farming villages, so this page prints what they said they grow and what sits around that farming: credit, markets, veterinary care and machinery.
Census of India 2011, Village Directory, commodity columns.
The two dominate the list between them.
Produce is sold somewhere else, and the census does not say where.
Wheat and cotton, and very little around them
Every one of the 22 villages named wheat as one of its three commodities and 20 named cotton. Green gram appears in 14 of them and rice in 6.
The support around that farming is where the record thins out. Not one village had a mandi, meaning a regulated wholesale market where farmers sell produce, and not one had a haat, the market that sets up on one fixed day a week. Across all 22 villages the census counted 1 veterinary hospital, which matters in a place where cattle are part of the household economy.

What this table cannot tell you It cannot tell you tonnage, acreage per crop, or income. The census asks each village to name up to three commodities, and it records the names only. There is no yield column in this source.

What this table cannot tell you It cannot tell you where produce is actually sold. A village with no mandi and no haat still sells its cotton somewhere. The census records the absence of a market inside the village and does not follow the crop out of it.

What this table cannot tell you It cannot rank the crops by value. The order a village gives is its own declared order of importance, which is not the same as an area or a revenue ranking, and this register does not convert one into the other.
One warning that applies to this whole page. The census amenity columns describe 2009, not 2026. Nothing built in the Dholera region after 2009 is in them, and an absence here is not proof of an absence on the ground today. It is proof that the last national survey of these villages did not find one.
