Health
Chemists and private doctors
If a child spikes a fever at night, who is within reach? This page prints what the census found outside the government system in the 22 Dholera villages: medicine shops, private doctors, and traditional practitioners.
Census of India 2011, Village Directory. Surveyed 2009.
Nine separate census categories, all recorded zero.
The only non-hospital dispensing point the census found.
The short answer, and the honest caveat
Across all 22 villages the census counted 6 private medical facilities of any kind. That includes medicine shops, private doctors with a degree, private doctors without a degree, and traditional practitioners. The count is zero in every category and in every village.
This matters for an ordinary decision. If someone at home runs a fever at ten at night, the question is not where the hospital is, it is where the nearest person who can hand you a strip of tablets is. On this record, that person was not in the village.
Now the caveat, and it is a real one. This is a government survey of what was declared in 2009. A shop that opened in 2015 is not in it. Nor is a practitioner who was there in 2009 and simply did not get recorded. Read the zero as the last national survey finding nothing, not as proof that nothing exists.
Everything the census counts outside government health, across all 22 villagesCensus of India 2011, Village Directory. The amenity columns carry an internal reference year of 2009, so this describes the ground in 2009 and not today.

What this table cannot tell you It cannot see a private clinic that opened after 2009, and it cannot see an informal one at all. The census enumerator recorded what was declared to them in the village. A chemist trading today would not appear in this table, because this table stopped being updated seventeen years ago.
What government health there is, for comparison
The government side of the same question is on two other pages, and it is thin as well. Three Primary Health Centres operate in Dholera taluka on the state list as on 15 August 2018, and no Community Health Centre operates anywhere in it on the national health mission list as on 30 June 2021.
One warning that applies to this whole page. The census amenity columns describe 2009, not 2026. Nothing built in the Dholera region after 2009 is in them, and an absence here is not proof of an absence on the ground today. It is proof that the last national survey of these villages did not find one.
